Russian pagan folk metal band Опричь (Oprich) will release their new EP “Ветра Пьяный Мёд – Winds’ Heady Mead” in May 2014 via Casus Belli Musica. This mini-album includes three brand new songs of Oprich and an original remake of Temnozor’s “Folkstorm of the Azure Nights”. The album will be released as a one-side 12’’ LP limited to 100 hand-numbered copies. It was recorded and mixed by Mikhail Romanov, Yaromir and Alexander Sutyagin at “UHO” Studio, mastered by Yuriy Kuzkin at Dabloid Sound Design. The cover art is created by the painter Igor “DartGarry” Burlakov, while the LP envelope includes lyrics and their poetical translation into English by Sergey AR Pavlov. “Winds’ Heady Mead” is already available for pre-order in their label’s e-shop, where you can also listen to a promo sample and find info about the album concept.
