
French pirate metal band Mormieben from the area of Nantes will release its debut EP entitled “Hissons le Pavillon” (Hoist the Colors) on September 19th 2015. The band was formed in 2011, but its present line-up exists since a few years. They sing in French and their lyrics deal with piracy, pirate life, rum and all pirate’s things! Mormieben’s music is influenced by bands such as Alestorm, Equilibrium, Finntroll, Arkona, Eluveitie… “Hissons le Pavillon” has been recorded and mixed at Brown Bear Recording Studio by Arthur Lauth and mastered at MasterLab Studio. It will be self-released in digital version and in a limited to 300 copies CD edition, available only via the band’s official pages. Mormieben have already unveiled the cover artwork by Marion (Poupoune) and the EP tracklist.
