Italian folk metallers Kanseil present the official artwork and tracklist of their upcoming second full-length album “Fulìsche“, scheduled for release via Rockshots Records on May 25th, 2018 for Europe and June 8th, 2018 for North America! Kanseil is a folk metal project, formed in late 2010 in Fregona, Veneto, Italy. It’s named after the ancient name of Cansiglio, its home-place’s mountains that are often told about in its songs. The band looks for an own style, that assembles early medieval melodies and traditional folk sounds from all over Europe, with death and black metal riffs, along with acoustic assembles in an ancient-fashioned atmosphere. “Fulìsche” follows their 2015 debut “Doin Earde” released on Nemeton Records and it is already available for pre-order in their label’s official webshop.
The band comments: “‘Fulìsche’ are the sparks of a fire moving away from the element they were born from, they shine in their own glow and you can watch them for a few instants before they disappear forever in the dark…In the same way mankind’s stories live in the collective memory until they take flight and you have a limited time to look at them and catch their beauty before they’re lost”. This is also the concept behind the album’s cover, where visions emerge from smoke and fire, brought to light by the skilled hands of Manuel Scapinello Illustration and colored by Giulia Zuliani, who took care of all the graphics of this album with the collaboration of Ettore Avalernon Garbellotto.
