




















Janvs is another amazing band coming from the Italian black metal scene. They were formed in 2003 and in 2004 they released “Nigredo”, a very limited and quickly sold out album (only 88 copies), but it was in 2007 when they released their first widely spread album “Fvlgvres” by the Italian label ATMF. It was a surprisingly good work of excellent emotional black metal with a great inspiration in dark melancholic melodies.

Lord Agheros is quite an unknown band from Sicily, Italy. It’s another one man’s band and the musician behind it, Evangelou Gerassimos, comes from Greece. The band exists from 1999, but it was just 2007 that they self-released their debut album “Hymn”. One year later (autumn 200 My Kingdom Music released their second album “As-a-Sin”.

The power folk metal band from Italy is back with its fifth album. Being already 11 years in the scene they released the very promising debut “Heathenreel” in 2001, combining epic power metal with folk music. Exultet is a two men’s band from Sicily, Italy. Farz formed the band in 2003 and next year Argoth was added as permanent drum player. In 2004 they self-released their first full-length demo “Urbs Felix”, presenting a folk black metal album, with Arabian and oriental atmosphere. In 2006 the second demo “Requiem of a Dream” was released, but it contained older (symphonic black metal) material from 2001-2003, with a much different sound from the band’s style. Read more…
