MENEAPNEONTES reveal upcoming debut album details

Epic black metallers Meneapneontes from Greece have revealed the first details of their upcoming debut full-length album “Promachos“, which will be co-released by Satanath Records (Russia) and MurdHer Records (Italy) on the 21st of September 2015. Meneapneontes were formed in 2011, as the result of the musical partnership of Takis (guitars) and Vassilis (bass, vocals), a partnership that counts more than fifteen years. Their lyrical themes are inspired by the Greek mythology and history. “Promachos” drags along the accumulated desire and fury for expression. Expression through ideals, righteousness and virtue that have been forgotten in nowadays. The only way to do so, was the return to their roots. With “Promachos” the band shall take the time machine and stand shield by shield with Leonidas in Thermopylae, run like hell to avoid the Persian arrows in Marathon, fight against all odds like their ancestors at world war 2, and finally, shall learn and feel the beauty of an honored death. All the above, accompanied with the classic Hellenic black metal musical forms that bring in mind bands such as Rotting Christ, Zemial and Naer Mataron leave no choice but one: Prepare for war! “Promachos” will be release in standard jewel-case edition CD with 12-page booklet, limited to 500 copies.
